We at the Red Dot Project would like to announce “Red Dot Project Conference 2019” taking place on May 28, 2019. This year’s conference is titled “PERIOD. Beginning the Conversation”.

 

This conference is being held in order to help eradicate the existing stigmas surrounding menstruation, bring attention to the increasing levels of period poverty while simultaneously discussing how these intersect with the homelessness crisis that exists in the City of Toronto.

We aim to be able to conduct an inclusive, informative, accessible and empowering event. This event will provide an opportunity for leaders and frontline workers in our city to gather and begin the necessary steps to help catapult change in the fight to eliminate the stigmas of menstruation.
